This thing is built to last. A bit heavier than expected but will protect my Quad Cortex with no worries.

Complete your modeler fly rig

Drew

Had it for 4 years. First it held my analog rig. Then I got a modeler. It fits my Headrush Pedalboard perfectly. I've flown this rig 5-10 times in the belly if the plane (a couple times internationally) and short of a custom made case, you can't get better protection. I've put this case through it's paces. 1000's of miles, 100's of gigs, dozens of sessions, the latches work the read more same as new. Wood is strong. Corners are indestructible. I'm sure there's a lighter option for the weekend warriors or hobby players but this one is for the working pro and it delivers.

Rig cleanup, Aisle One!

I'm a keyboard player who wanted to clean up the small pieces of my normal gig rig - now that I'm using a Radial Key Largo, EH Lester K and various sustain / volume pedals, it was these little pieces and the associated wiring that was slowing me down and making me messy. So I was looking for 1) low profile, 2) as little 'slope' as possible, 3) flat to the ground (for using sustain read more pedals), big enough for all the pieces, 4) fit under the oddly angled legs of my K&M Baby Spider stand, and 5) protected my gear during schlep. Things to like about the Gator G-Tour - it's pretty flat! Very little front-to-back slope. The little carry handles on either side come in very handy. It fits under the legs of the stand perfectly. And the beefy road case has skate wheels - and protects everything very well. Have already gotten compliments from bandmates, as it cleans up my rig nicely. I'm very pleased so far as it 1) tidies everything up, 2) really keeps things protected in that beefy road case, 3) even with everything mounted and wired, the weight is reasonable, and 4) the storage in the case under the pedalboard is a nice bonus for all my other cables. All to say, I'm quite pleased with my purchase.
