So nice, I got a second one . . .

... for an early 60s folk guitar (Victoria Japan - Tesco Del Rey, eat yr heart out) as well as my Gretsch resonator. I appreciated the heavier 2 way zippers on pocket as well as the main enclosure. I appreciated the denser, firmer foam padding used behind the durable tan nylon skin. The base of the bag is "armored" with a nubby rubber pad on the bottom, when you store your guitar read more upright. I appreciated the opportunity to carry a tan bag instead of heat-grabbing black. And, I appreciated the help from the Sweetwater sales engineer who made it possible to conduct a product return that enabled the purchase of this second gig-bag. Tiny complaint for a nearly-invisible tear by a seam in the headstock area; I can stitch it up on my own, so I'm not sending it back. And, who doesn't look forward to the treat at the bottom of the shipping box? Recommended. Peace - Deeve

Gretsch gig bag

I wanted a bag for my jim dandy acoustic and Gretsch didn't have one for that particular guitar. So I went on line and other people voiced the same concern. So fella suggested a Gretsch resonator gig bag. I ordered it and was not disappointed! It's well padded and fits the guitar like a glove. Also the tan color tweed and vintage Gretsch logo give it a cool

Fits My Jim Dandy Perfectly!

I wanted a knock-about small, travel guitar, so I bought a Gretsch Jim Dandy (G9500). Turns out to be a much better than throw-it-in-your-trunk guitar so I wanted something to carry it in. I couldn't find a case or gig bag for this particular model until someone mentioned the Gretsch G2180 Gig Bag. Made specifically for their Resonator guitar, it turns out this is also a perfect read more fit for the Jim Dandy! Solid construction, decent padding, durable material - and it's made by Gretsch. Who could ask for more?

A Perfect Fit For My Jim Dandy

I finally decided to stop "borrowing" a gig bag and get one of its own for my Gretsch G9500 Jim Dandy. Except Gretsch doesn't make one! Parlor-size guitars just swim inside a standard bag or case, so I wanted something more appropriate. Then I read on Sweetwater that someone else had put their Jim Dandy in it, so I ordered it. Knowing Sweetwater's return policy, I figured, what read more the heck? It won't need to be returned. I put the Jim Dandy into the case and it's a perfect fit! It's got a Gretsch label on it, a pouch for extras (tuner, capo, strings, etc.), and now I'm set to go! Thanks, Sweetwater!
