Super thick gig bag and very sturdy. But, alas, It did not fit my Kala tenor uke. Now I have this gig bag for my Kala concert and soprano, and had no trouble with them fitting. (the extra padding takes up more room) So I returned it, to Sweetwater, with no problem. I exchanged it for a Gator hard case. Fit perfectly! Sure it cost a little more, but I want this uke protected.

This case is slightly too small for most tenor ukes. I tried it with my Gretsch, Lanikai and Outdoor brand Ukulele. The Outdoor Ukulele would kind of "cram in there", but I wouldn't want to transport it that way. I also have the concert size Gator case and it fits my Cordoba 15cm perfectly, really disappointed the tenor case is too small...they are quite well made.
Awesome bag but one size DOES NOT fit all.

I ordered this bag to go with my Kala tenor ukelele. However, when it arrived it was too small for my uke. My uke would technically fit in but it kept popping out because the bag wasn't long enough for it and I knew I couldn't keep it and have that much pressure on the uke all the time. I was very disappointed because this bag was everything I wanted. It is very high quality… read more and the padding is very thick. The zippers are very sturdy, great front pocket and overall very quality workmanship and materials and a very thick, protective padding on the inside. It's solid. So, I had no problem with the case itself but before you buy be aware that just because it is a tenor size DOES NOT mean it will fit your tenor uke. As always, Sweetwater customer service was great and I was able to return the case with no problem for a full refund.
