I shouldn't have been surprised because Gator makes some great products. This was much nicer than I expected. Makes my On Stage brand stand feel like a piece of junk.

I have my Peavey bass on this thing and it's nice and stable... however, if you have rambunctious dogs, definitely fasten that little piece across the neck! It'll save you the trouble of picking up your instrument from the floor when your fur babies stampede through your music room.

Solid with a good amount of padding on the seat and arms. The seat is plenty wide and the tilt keeps the guitar neck secured gently in the arms.

Just got two of the gator stands from sweetwater. Excellent service every time with them. The stands were bought for two acoustic guitars of mine. A 6 and a 12 string and they work great. Even better made than I expected for the price. The only con is my experience with the stand is a fender strat tends to slip to one side a little but still stays in the stand. Very nice, sturdy stand! Much sturdier than other stands I have. Adjustable. Works perfectly with my Precision Bass. Sweetwater did me up right, too! Good price, good value, and they shipped it to me very promptly, despite the stay-at-home orders we're all dealing with at present!
