I'm not sure how the rubber-ish top hinge cover will deal with nitro guitars so I put a cloth over it for safety but they've been fantastic stands. They do lean back a bit but not too far so they're designed well. They have 3-4 adjustment spots for width to help fit your guitar properly. With offset guitars (like my Jaguars) you've got to be sure you get them in there properly… read more but using a more narrow width helps too. I blame that more on the guitar design than the stand though obviously. I did get one that was bent/uneven in the 5 that I bought but Sweetwater immediately replace it without an issue. Great service as always. I will buy more soon I'm sure. I like them better than my neck supported stands because they're very compact when you put them away and they seem a bit more stable.

I have two of these Gator stands, and they hold my acoustics dreadnoughts very well, they hold the guitar in a more vertical position, witch is what i like. The On Stage stand leans the guitar back to far for me.

PERFECT FOR A SQUIER P BASS FRETLESS,VERY STURDY,SO I QUESS ITS PERFECT FOR ALL FENDER AND SQUIER P BASSES.IT STAYS PUT ON THE STAND EVEN WITH THE STRAP AND CABLE ON THERE ALSO. ITS LIKE ITS MADE FOR A FENDER P BASS.

I have owned a lot of guitar stands in my life and have had to deal with assembly, desinagrating rubber, loosing parts, to even some rusting over time. I have to say I think that Gator Frameworks Nailed it with their A-Frame Guitar Stand, no assembly required, just push a button to what width you want the base to be and done!
