i've pretty much only played gibson les pauls my whole life, and certain epiphone les pauls.... acoustic guitars just wasn't my thang....... but the older i get, the more i wanted to get me one. i found this bad boy at SWEETWATER, and after spending considerable time looking at it , and talking to my SWEETWATER sales engineer about it, i decided to get this model mainly because… read more its a gibson, and i was really intrigued by the second sound hole. the more i play this guitar, the more i like it. to me the second sound hole is like the difference between playing in stereo, and playing in mono, but that's just my opinion. the second sound hole lets the player hear what he or she is playing, like the audience hears it, this guitar brings tears to my eyes when i'm throwing down some allman bros, or marshall tucker on it, it just sounds, and plays great. this is a guitar i will have for a long time. better get you one from SWEETWATER, you won't be disappointed...........

Oh well first I should say that this guitar passed the smog test with flying colors LOL , just kidding I didn't burn it to know if it was made of wood ... Playability and tone is the main asset of this guitar and those who will obtain it will be blessed to create songs melodies riffs solos and whatever comes to their mind. I am a proud owner of Gibson Guitars and own almost all Electric Models but had only one Acoustic 1960s J-45 and for a long time wanted to add to my Collection another Gibson Acoustic . When I saw the New Gibson Generation Series immediately felt like I want to own one in cutaway style... The Choice was one the G-Writer . Checked out 2 was left. Had a busy day ahead but took time… read more and ordered this beauty of a guitar . Collin Blue my sales engineer made it happen with high professional Customer Service and I am grateful and very happy and with the guitar and with the service. The Guitar arrived today and let me tell you no regrets whatsoever. Came out in tune after traveling 2000 miles. Great playability and tone. The quality I can say like custom shop . The player port is the gravy , you can hear every note you play ... It sure is one acoustic to own and enjoy . At the end of the Day that I ordered the guitar came back to check none was left. Felt lucky then and feel lucky today after playing for 2 hours non stop and recorded a new tune which came out exceptional . Good pick up true Acoustic sound....
