There's enough stress setting up for a live set in the park or MC-ing an open mic stage. Pops and crackles reflect on the dude at the box. I don't want to be that guy when it happens. Mogami Gold never lets me down. Other great brands also help, but when I want to record, I step up my game. Strong signal, low noise works for me.

Over the years I've been using the same cables for my home recording setup. The setup contained a mix of different cable manufacturers and adapters. Even though the cabling worked, I'd always seem to have low-level noise issues. Since I couldn't track down the issue, I decided to replace all of the cables. Since replacing 80% of the cabling with Mogami cables, the low-level noise… read more has been eliminated. So, I'll be ordering 4-8 more cables to complete the cable replacement project. The cables are well-made and meet my recording needs. Now I can concentrate on recording/mixing without being distracted by the extra work required to mitigate noise in my recordings.
Mogami cables are the best!
