Battery DOA
I just assumed it was defective but my partner suggested trying a different battery and that was it. As simple as it seems, I never would have though of that because I don't think I've ever had anything arrive with fully dead batteries.
Works perfectly!
I've read these bad reviews but took my chances. I'm glad did. It works perfectly for me. I've used it to tune guitars, basses, and ukulels. Never had any problems.
Don't
This tuner does not work. Won't register consistently, regardless of mode you're in. I got it to use in practice at home, both bass and guitar, but it's such a hassle to try to use that I finally threw it away.
Piece of Crap
I'm really agree at this tuner right now..so that should be taken into account. I play a lot of music and most times I have to borrow someone else's tuner before we play. For the most part it kind of gets the job done..ish. It's about on the same level as the low end Snark tuners. But if you want to go into an alternate tuning (something other than EADGBE) you're out of luck. I… read more cannot get it to register other notes. And often it won't register certain strings even in standard tuning. It has these different settings: there's a small 'b' and 'v' and 'u' which are presumably for other instruments. I've found that on my acoustic sometimes the bass setting works the best. Anyway, I'd say just by a good Snark.
