Rockabilly/Fingerstyle Monster!

I bought this guitar after drooling over the videos for 7 years. It needed a little setup out of the box, I shaved the nut down a shade and lowered the bridge and voila! Electric guitar action as sweet as my go to Telecaster. If you want to hear all solid wood acoustic tones from this red rocker, forget it, that's not what this instrument is about. The volume slash tone control takes you from mellow acoustic/electric tones to a soul bite grind with a quick spin. I like to play fake pedal steel country leads and the tremolo adds another level. This is one of those things in life, if you don't get it I can't explain it, if you get it, no explanation is necessary. Coolest, most fun guitar I've ever owned. (Been playing for over 50 years, owned a lot of acoustic and electric guitars over the decades.)

Beautifull instrument,really stunning and plays great

After reading and watching you tube vids,I pulled the trigger and I'm glad I did.first of all,its beautifull,and it plays real nice,has slot of mojo,which really sold me.guifar was great out of the box,no issues, Even in tune,as most sweetwater stuff is.low action.plan on playin this in 3 tunings.it growls with a slide in d or .g,but sounds great in standard.i own alot of high end… read more gibsons,fenders, etc. Visually, this blows them away.have had alot of oops and aaas from my friends.could be the best purchase or top 3 in last 30 yrs and I own 87 guitars, but besides my r8 vos,and rory CS strat, this is it.i also love the weight,nice and solid. Surprisingly versatile

I bought this guitar after about 4 years of gazing at it longingly. I was put off by the price compared to what a perceived to be limited uses. I finally pulled the trigger and booooy was I wrong. I thought it would be a cool guitar for a few songs and then back to my workhorse, but if you let your imagination go a little wild, you'll find more than a few songs to let this beauty… read more shine on.

Totally Awesome Guitar

I had been coveting this guitar for 4 years. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased it on 11/20/20. Right out of the box, it blew me away. It has a wonderfully warm sound as a stand alone acoustic guitar. The real treat was plugging it into my Line 6 amp and setting it up thru the amp. The sound was perfect. The pickup placement is not a problem to work around and adding a full… read more or cut capo increased it's versatility. I have been experimenting with string configurations, finally settling going heavy top with an .014 and .010. I have a very crisp top end and with a nice fat bottom. The string arrangement has not change tune or intonation. COVID has kept me from playing it out so far, but I have had a lot to time to get used to the dreadnaught body and the overall weight. I highly recommend this guitar as a go to gig axe for you. Thanks again to SweetWater for making this easy for me

Got to have one

Ever since I was a young lad ! I always wanted want bar on acoustic over 40yrs I have one ! I love this guitar ! It's not your regular acoustic or regular electric ether! Mostly play Unplugged sounds great amped to!! It plays totally different!!!! That's why I love it! It's awesome just a peace of ART WORK
