Amazing guitar!

This is my first Gretsch, and it has me wanting another! As an Anniversary model, I had high expectations for this guitar, and it exceeded those. The finish is gorgeous and every attention to detail makes this guitar spectacular. The sparkling goldtop and sparkling cherry side and back are beautiful together. And I can't believe Gretsch even matched the pickguard and pickup borders read more to the cherry! Everyone who sees the guitar remarks on it. Great looks are matched with equal features that make this a joy to play. The neck is extremely comfortable to play and the Bigsby is perfect for adding vibrato. The High Sensitive Filter'trons are articulate and bright, as you'd expect from a Gretsch. However, roll off the tone and the sound gets darker like a PAF humbucker, which can provide very jazzy tones. The ability to control volume independently for each pick up provides many tonal possibilities in the middle position when both pickups are engaged. I play everything from rock and pop to jazz, from pristine clean to fuzz, and from strumming to fingerpicking. This guitar is super versatile and can do it all, and it works well with a variety of pedals. If you're thinking about buying a hollowbody Gretsch and you're considering this Anniversary model, your search is over. Buy it. And Sweetwater will send it to you in perfect condition, set up and ready to play!

Looks and sounds great! It takes feedback well and its well balanced and easy to play! Somewhere between a telecaster and a Gibson hollow body. Highly recommended!!!
