Great Ukelele

This is a great tenor ukulele. i have an Alvarez concert size that I started with and just wanted something a little larger and easier to hold and finger. I went with the Gretsch for several reasons. First, I watched several You Tube videos that compared tenor ukuleles and out of ten models the Gretsch was everyone's first or second pick. Second, I already have a Gretsch Electromatic read more hollow body guitar and a Gretsch metal body resonator guitar and I love them both. I also have two Fender's, a Gibson and a Sigma banjo so for me it wasn't just a Gretsch thing. The Gretsch quality did help but so did the solid mahogany and the walnut neck. And let us not forget the great people at Sweetwater from those who help us make our selections on the phone to those who inspect and set up our choices to those who expertly and carefully pack each purchase for us. Thanks for all you do.

I am not an expert, but I have Kala and Cordoba Ukes from Sweetwater. This model does not own up to the same price point for sound and finish.

Beautiful little Gretsch instrument. Bought it because of the Gretsch sound and quality of my guitars. And this was a nice addition to my collection. Well made, good tone, fun to play and great quality. Well done.
