I don't have any experience with ukes (this is my first) so I can't say how this compares to others, but I can tell you this Gretsch has a nice tone. I was surprised how such a small instrument can have such long sustain. On top of that it's just a beautiful instrument. Love the classic look with it's warm reddish color and abalone snowflake inlays. I appreciate the electronics… read more if I need to plug in and the built in tuner is handy. It tends to stay in tune, except the C string does needs adjusting from time to time. I'm having a lot of fun playing it. It's a great instrument for the price. I would recommend it.

I had been reaserching uks for months and finaly chose this bad @$$ lil guy!! Ihave always wanted a Gretch Falcon but cant aford one, but "Tinker" here has the same Gretch attitude, just in pint size form. Asked my Father for it for Christmas, and I am so happy with it!
