Old vibe

It has a nice breezy sound unplugged. plugged in …. For me has a nice bluesy character. Though it has quite the feedback but that is to be expected with hollow body guitars, it's easy to work around that. You can't beat it for the price range. My only complaint is that they don't put the cinnamon flavored " atomic fireballs " in the candy packets anymore and quite frankly they read more could leave out the tootsie rolls

Amazing for anything

1st off I am the farthest thing from a jazz player, but man this guitar has some mojo in it. I originally got it because it screamed blues to me and it sure does rock the blues. Its amazing for fingerpicking and hybrid. The pickup isnt too bright and not too dark. The color and the feel of the guitar is amazing. Everything about this guitar to me is perfect.

The G9555 is such a fun guitar to play. Truly a beautiful looking guitar with all the vintage feel and sound I had imagined it would be. The pickup sounds great I've challenged it with a mix of blues jazz and rock and it's very cool. I'm far from a jazz player but this jazz box is way cool to play blues on. I also played some slide with open tuning and it really sounded good. read more Acoustic jams also have that great vintage sound. I really thing for the price it's a huge value I'm very happy I added this guitar to my line up. The V neck is great as far as I'm concerned it feels like an old vintage guitar and that's what I was seeking.

Really pleased!

From the "Roots" collection, this archtop is a steal. Acoustically it has a warmth that only a well made archtop can provide. Plugged in and she sings a nice thick mellow tone. Fingerstyle or with a pick, it gives a great vintage vibe. Beautiful finish and a lovely meaty neck that still accommodates a smaller hand. I haven't found one flaw on the finish or parts. Tuners are rock read more solid. Very comfortable to play and nice and light if you need to stand. Acoustically the solid top projects very well but you'll see what I mean about it's true soul coming out when you use an amplifier. Straight ahead with just a volume control, the instrument speaks for itself.

Great Guitar

If you"re looking for authentic, Charlie Christian style jazz, this is it. This guitar was built for your own personal playing, there"s no fancy gadgets that change things up, it"s just you and the guitar and the tone comes from your fingers. Vintage and classy, get this guitar. I love mine and play in a jazz trio, it"s seriously great.
