Great Stand
This is the 5th Ultimate Support GS-1000 guitar stand that I have purchased....now I have have one for all my electric guitars.... they are great for every kind of guitar I own from my jackson Dinkie (Strat style) to my Rhoads V they are stable very well built and all the padding is well placed....no metal hitting the paintWell worth the bucks
So far so good
It hasn't seen a lot of service yet so can't speak to how robust it is. The pads probably won't hurt the finish and it locks well and I love the portability. Used with a Fender P and a Modulus 5 string.
I love this stand
Once you figure out that the blue button on the base of the stand operates like an on and off switch, (who reads instructions?), this stand quickly becomes your favorite. It compacts easily to take up as little space as possible and also acts like a one-piece, with nothing to lose or misplace, unlike those with a fork-like insert that always comes up missing. I definitely recommend… read more this stand and am personally ordering two more.
Great Guitar Stand!
VERY LIGHTWEIGHT YET STRONG. KEEPS MY EXPENSIVE GUITARS SECURE ONSTAGE. HAS A VERY SMALL FOOTPRINT FOR TRANSPORTING. AS USUAL SWEETWATER IS THE BEST! THANKS Aaron!!!!
Poor quality yoke that breaks in two weeks.
I was very happy about this product when I received it. Does exactly the same job as Hercules stands but with a cheaper price tag. However, after 2 weeks of regular usage, the soft rubber on the yoke starts falling off. I am using this stand to hold my new Epiphone Les Paul that wights 8.5 lbs. The soft material is very thin, I am afraid my neck will be scratched by the hard plastic… read more underneath it as the rubber falls. They should really change the design.
