Perfect!
I play guitar and mandolin in a Christian band and play at churches and other venues. Often the stage areas are small and using two guitar stands is difficult. I needed a stand that could hold both of my instruments and take up no more space than one stand. This one fits my needs perfectly. It is very good quality and with 4 legs is quite stable. It holds the mandolin ok but since… read more the neck is smaller than a guitar neck it would help to pad out the holder with rubber tubing or such, although the security strap on the holder seems to keep the mandolin in place. I am very pleased with the stand and my experience with Sweetwater.
Exactly what I needed
This is such a great stand that protect the instruments from falling out an a solid supporting base that is quick an easy to assemble an tear down. Recommend this,an Scott is great at handling any and all orders. I will always buy from Sweetwater.
Works as expected
It does what i was expecting it to do.
Perfect for my needs
I don't have a lot of space in my little studio and if I want all my guitars out and ready to grab when I am practicing or recording these stands are perfect. They take up little more space than a single guitar stand. I usually have both my acoustic guitars and both of my strats ready to play and with 4 single stands it got a little cramped. With these I now have more room to move… read more around and they are so sturdy that I am asking myself why I didn't buy these sooner.
Fixed the problem for Fender style headstocks
I really liked the design of this stand in terms of how stable it is and how compact when folded. I was sooooo disappointed when the headstock of my J Bass rotated out of the yoke and fell. (Fortunately, it was not damaged.). I seem to have fixed the problem with about $9 in heavy duty rubber grommets from my local Ace Hardware. I used three large grommets on one side to increase… read more the size of that side of the yoke in order to better fit the asymmetrical headstock. I added an even larger one and one more smaller one on the opposite side of the yoke in order to prevent the guitar from rotating in the yoke. By the way, it's not easy to get the grommets on, but so far it seems to work. I've had several different guitars and basses hanging on it since I implemented the fix last week. No drops, slips or errors!
