I bought this mainly for my Gibson Firebird that I wanted a solid stand to hold this unconventional shaped guitar. I use 2 guitars when I play at gigs and I like to have the one I'm going to play up on the stage and ready. This stand is solid and secure. I like the GS415B PLUS because it will collapse small enough to fit in my transport bag. I also like Hercules because they use… read more material that is safe for a Gibson guitar's finish.

Got the 415 about a month ago. Considered the 414 with the fixed yoke. This is a great stand, very stable and secure. This is my first hanging stand and I am very happy with it. Should have done it a long time ago.
