GS7155 Hang-It Single Guitar Stand Review

Good Stand

Had it for a month and it's still working fine. If you get it, make sure the part that hangs the guitar is not backward. Undo the screw for the height adjustment and turn it around so it's facing the right way or else it won't hold your guitar. Bad instructions but you'll understand once it arrives.

GS7155 guitar stand

I just received the GS7155 stand, and it is much better than I expected. This is the first stand I have ever purchased, and it supports my Gibson J-200 and my Gibson Dove perfectly. Amazing and cheap

I lived in Mexico a few years ago and needed a guitar stand. This stand was the only one I could find there so I bought it. It was under a different brand name there. So when I went to search for another one I could not find it until I accidentally found it here on Sweetwater under the On-Stage brand. It's not as heavy or heavy duty as it's competitors, Hercules and Ultimate… read more support. But it does the job just as well. Those wings on the Hercules don't really provide much security. If you hit the guitar so hard that it will fall out of the stand then all the wings will do is bring the stand down along with the guitar. And those stands where the guitar bottom rests on two flanges at the bottom? It just provides a pivot point for the guitar to be knocked down more easily. The On-Stage Stands GS7155 just does the job. But better yet it is light weight, folds small and is each to carry. The part that hold the headstock just flips back for transport while the legs retract. It's holds the guitar just as firmly as the more expensive heavier models. I couldn't find this stand anywhere until now. I bought my daughter one of the more expensive Ultimate Support stands and I like mine better even though hers "looks" better and more refined. If you're looking for a no nonsense stand that just does the job without frills, buy this one!

Great Stand

I have purchased more then one of these stand and now in the process of purchasing another. On - Stage stands are well built and can stand up to others in its price/class. Sweetwater is the place I go to purchase all my equipment/instrument needs. Make them your place to go too! You will be glad you did. Hats off to my engineer JK, at Sweetwater for keeping the music flowing.
