I have bought inexpensive guitar/bass stands in the past that couldn't handle the weight of my 6 string neck through bass. This thing is a beast for the price!

This is a great little stand that was pretty easy to setup. It straightens out and is pretty sturdy once it's all put together.

As others have said, this is a great rack that unfolds in seconds. Easily expandable up to eight thinner solid-body electrics, like Strats or Telecasters. Brackets are easily adjustable; solidly built and saves me a ton of room in my small bedroom studio.
