If you always use guitar straps (as I do ) then get this guitar stand. There is no bottom part where straps always seem to catch the guitar strap. Guitar hangs secure from the top and the stand seems well balanced . I've had bad experiences with other guitar stands and is why I got this one. Heavy duty stand
This is a well built stand...only problem is it comes in three pieces and are difficult to get them to go together. But once you get it done you will be pleased.

Really pleased with this unit. Very good build quality and I really like the auto locking yoke. Nice to have the one-handed quick release to adjust the height. It fits my bass perfectly with plenty of ground clearance and its super stable. Someone would have to go out of their way to knock it over. Does its job
We have this in our living room so that I can leave my guitar somewhere in between practices without having to immediately take it back into the music room. I have a 1 year old that would touch and pull on straps etc, and the traditional guitar stand put the guitar at risk of falling.
