Awesome Fingerstyle Guitar!
I just received this guitar today after a pretty long wait and I couldn't be more satisfied! As a first time online buyer I had my fair share of concerns but Sweetwater made it a breeze. I've been searching online for a guitar more suited for fingerstyle as my dreadnought wasn't a perfect fit for that kind of playstyle. Ibanez wasn't on my mind at all and I was actually looking… read more into Taylors or Martins well over double the price of this guitar but I came across this model being played by one artist I really like but couldn't find any to try at local guitar shops so it was a pretty risky purchase but it turned out to be great! Despite being a smaller body it has great depth and warmth to the sound. The pau ferro back and sides seem to bear similar sonic characteristics to that of rosewood. The guitar is very responsive which is a huge plus for players with a lighter touch like myself. Aesthetically pleasing as well with nothing excessive such as fancy fretboard markers/inlays. The tonewoods are beautifully finished and overall a minimalistic design while maintaining a nice upscale feel. Imo this guitar is well worth the money and outperforms others in the similar price range that I've tried.
