I love this guitar If you're looking for a small body guitar the Ibanez AEG 200 is about as good as you can get for under $1,000

Great compact guitar for the money, but the initial setup could have been much better

dunnwell1908 So I was looking for a smaller guitar to have hanging on my wall that would be easy to pull down and play without knocking things over. This definitely fits the bill. With a slightly thinner than usual grand concert body shape the size is darn near perfect for what I was going for, plus it has a normal scale length medium thickness neck. I only play it acoustically, read more but the built in electronics have a pretty good tuner which is handy. It also sounds great. Not overly bright but also not boomy, muffled, or dark. Somewhat mid-focused with rounded off highs. I would call it mellow sounding. Plenty loud for playing around the house. The satin finish is great and makes the neck feel really comfortable. Only one real negative makes me give the 4.5 stars instead of 5. The string action on arrival was atrocious. Extremely high, especially in the higher frets. I ended up taking it to my local guitar tech for a setup and he said it was among the worst he has seen. I just got it back and it's fantastic after a setup, but if you buy this budget money and time to get it setup by a good guitar tech. If that doesn't bother you and this is the sort of guitar you're looking for I can recommend it. If I had the decision to make again I would still choose this guitar and am really enjoying it.

Would buy this again, great for the price.
