Here is a tastefully appointed instrument that is well made and comes with all the stuff I was looking for. Out of the box, its tooling is up to snuff. I think all A/E guitars should have an onboard tuner. Its one less thing to have to lose. The tuners are of a nice grade and reliable. The tone takes you to about every blues players expectations for that raspy throat that makes read more you get out the bottle neck. It seems a little stiff to me so much that I tuned it down a full step which helped enable the string bending process. Some tweaking of the setup and possibly a lighter gage string set could make it an even better handler. I also like that the cable input is offset from the strap button and the battery is easy access. Not everyone is going to like the sound of this guitar but it may grow on you. If your a versatile musician that is looking for another voice it may be a keeper.

Incredible value for the price point

For the price point of this model Ibanez has got it dialed in. I mean no it's not a Taylor or a Martin with super expensive tone wood but it's just as playable and I worry far less leaving it to bang around on stage and bars. The little tone shaping knob can dial a little more bass in since it's a thin guitarand amplified it totally hangs in there. I dig it. :)
