This gig-bag surpassed all of my expectations. I bought it to transport my pricey Tele Custom to the office daily, more portably than I could within its hardcase. But as an experienced field engineer I demanded ample protection for my instrument at reasonable cost. Well, the Gator Icon Electric delivered! Although my business occasionally flies me overseas, I wouldn't dare postpone… read more music practice for work... stubborn maybe, but in order to retire into music professionally I figured this was a traditional exercise... everything would be fine. However, albeit my airline allowed my guitar safe habor inside the cabin leaving CONUS, their affiliate insisted I check it outside as cargo returning home!!! Yet, even after 3 airplanes, 3 airports, and 5000 miles it came out unscathed and in-tuned, ready to jam!!! I'd wouldn't do it again, but the important note is that GATOR DID A GREAT JOB... gratitudes to them and Sweetwater for delivering it asap for my trip!
