Great, but a caution

This is a great extension for your JVM Combo. But beware: the item description suggests use with a JVM head, but note that the head is WIDER than the cab and doesn't set securely on top. If you have a head, I suggest the Marshall 1936 2x12 cabinet instead. It is designed for regular Marshall Tube heads like the JVM series. Its speaker configuration is different, however.

I am using this with a DSL40C with a 65 watt Creamback. I'm still trying to sort out the sound of using the cab with the amp speaker. Using the cab without the amp speaker sounds great. The speakers are still breaking in, but I have no regrets buying it. It is very deep sounding which required more presence control on the amp. The dimensions are also pretty close to the DSL… read more so they look good together. Just keep in mind this cab is an expansion cab for JVM combo amps and a full size head is wider than this cab.
