I love this Ukulele! I am not one to normally write reviews but this Ukulele is so amazing. The sound of this 8 string is truly magical. I am not a professional player but I do have a small collection of these instruments that I play and this one is by far my favorite. So easy to play and stays in tune once it has 'settled' down. This 8 string Tenor Ukulele is amazing. I have several Ukuleles, both 4 and 6 strings, Concert and Tenors and this is by far my favorite. It has a unique sound and is easy to play. I am very impressed with this instrument. The wood and finish are stunningly beautiful. This piece deserves a try!

Wonderful sound, best I can say is that it "sings" excellent quality on the one I bought, I've had it for several months, and play it daily. Tuning was a challenge at first, as mine came with a new set of strings, installed by the seller, and was strung wrong. After fixing that problem, it is the sweetest sounding and playing Ukulele that I've owned. Thanks Kala! Jim in Wisconsin

Received my new 8 strings of heaven today - I'm used to tenor scale, but was still pleasantly surprised at how quickly the fingers adjusted. The finish is gorgeously glossy and shows off the mahogany wood grain. Yes, it takes a few minutes plus another few minutes to tune the first time, but SO worth it. Can't think of a single criticism, except that I wish Kala would come up… read more with a custom case or gig bag for this uke.
