I have a number of Kala ukuleles, different sizes and all exceptional, but the baritone is definitely my favorite. The sound and sustain from it is deep and rich. I have purchased all my musical products from Sweetwater. My sales engineer Ian Lemberg is the best. Sweetwater is by far the best company around.

Love this baritone ukulele great action and sound nice looking too, and tuned right out of the box. Thought that it might take some stretching of the strings a pleasant surprise . Thanks Ben and the Sweetwater team.

I am a very amateur, non-musician so keep that in mind when you read my opinion. My new uke sounds great plugged in or not. Pretty too. I like the built-in tuner. Very handy for someone like me. Overall, I'm happy with it. -Jim-

I just received this ukulele this morning. Up until today, I've been using a low quality baritone uke that is strictly acoustic. I needed an Acoustic/Electric uke to use for recording and live performances. This Kala baritone ukulele is a handsome gent. The action on the uke is great right out of the box. I was able to tune the uke easily (once I stretched the strings a bit)… read more and the uke stayed in tune with no issues. It is much easier to finger chords with this uke that it is with my cheapie uke. I am real pleased with the unplugged sound of this ukulele. When I plugged it in to my amp the uke was plenty loud, and after I adjusted the bass and treble settings on the preamp I quickly and easily got a nice sound. In closing, this Kala Baritone Ukulele is making me happy and is exactly what I needed! And, I can't forget to mention that Sweetwater, as always, is an awesome place to shop for musical gear & supplies.

Normally I don"t buy instruments on line but I took the leap with Sweetwater bcause they have amazing customer service and have delivered on every other purchase I have made. This Baritone Ukulele sounds great and even has a pickup so I can record with it. The first one was so good I bought a second one to keep in the trunk of my car. It"s a really good instrument to further understand… read more the guitar or make the leap from guitar to ukulele more manageable. Justin Sunday has really delivered on every piece of gear I have bought from him. As a former Guitar Center employee I am a super difficult customer. However, Justin is such a good salesman that he took my business from Guitar Center.
