I like my alto (concert) so much…

John

… despite the crappy tuners on my alto, which I converted to lefty, that I had to have a tenor to play right handed. The alto is really a nice Uke (tuning machines aside) and I simply can't resist get a tenor. I need another uke like I need another hole in my head, but, this is simply too good a deal to pass up. If these tuners—I just ordered a tenor but haven't taken delivery—are read more as bad as my alto's, well — :-D — that's just one more upgrading project. I enjoy upgrading projects. Thanks again to Joseph Secu.

Kala KA-EMTU-T Ukulele

I bought one of thse about a year ago. I found the tone flat as it way made of Mahogany veneer, very thin. Also the frets were low and had to make notes with. Bought a better uke and am playing happily.

Stunning design without compromise!

It's tough to describe just how thin the Kala travel ukes are, but when you are holding it, Holy Cow! So incredibly light and comfortable! And the best part? Tons of projection and warmth! How they managed to pull this combination off, I don't know, but it's fantastic!
