Very unique uke

I already have a traditional ukulele and was looking for something fun and different. Saw this sunburst archtop uke and decided to give it a try. Turns out it really is a nice sounding instrument that is easy to play and with a powerful pickup and nice built in tuner. It's a great deal for the money. Fit and finish is good. I'm not a total fan of the sunburst which is a bit cheesy,… read more but it isn't awful by any means. We've performed with it and get a lot of good comments. The Gator case I got with it fits the uke ok, but it is a bit tight. I'd look into a Kala specific case next time as the arched top and back are somewhat unique. The generic Gator case didn't seem to accommodate it as well. But it is a good quality case. As usual, Sweetwater was great to deal with.

Got mine while visiting Hawaii and immediately fell in love with it! The arch top look is way cool, and it plays and sounds great! Very well crafted too!

Everyone seems to fall in love with this little guy. It certainly has a cool 1920s vibe about it, as well as it's jazz box feel. Beyond it's attractiveness, it has real versatility in that it sounds great acoustically but also comes with a nice sounding pickup and built in preamp.
