Fun to use
Just a beginner uke player. This is a great sounding instrument. Keeps me interested in learning!
Perfect Uke
This is a great ukulele. Great resonant sound. I have had lots of ukuleles and this is the best. Great sound, great look, easy to play.
Not a disappointment
Had this for a few months now. Kala killed it with this instrument. An amazing feeling instrument, loud, and projects really well. Can't beat what you're getting for this cost
Great Value
I've played several of the resonator uses available now including the Myamoe, National, Kala, and Gretsch and a couple others whose name I don't remember. Needless to say, I have a wide range of price points to compare. Kala has once again delivered a superb uke at extremely low price point. All around, you are going to find more better sound without moving into the solid metal… read more Nationals or the custom builds such as Myamoe. And even then, you won't be getting more goodness equal to your money. The downside is the same as with all Kala uses: The tuners. They could have installed better tuners... But still, this is a great value. You can easily swap in a better set of tuners and be well under the budget of other ukes. The only other thing that I would like to see with this and with any other resonator uke would be a pickup of some sort. I'm a live performer and having the ability to plug in is a must for me. But, again, you can add this for not much and get a banging uke!
