Fantastic sound and stunning

This was my first purchase from Sweetwater and it has been beyond my expectations. The selection of instruments is unrivalled. Now, to the ukulele. This thing is beautiful, and the sound is warm and pleasing to the ear. The finish is immaculate. When it arrived with was packaged well, and after a couple minutes was tuned and ready to go. That first strum... it was like angels singing.… read more Youtube videos trying to show it's sound and beauty is down right insulting compared to what you get. I love this thing. Played for a few hours, and was sad I had to put it down and be an adult. Even my husband who hates the sound of ukes picked it up and was playing and appreciated the tone.

This uke is beautiful but makes very little sound. It's a collector... to hold it and view this "one of kind" uke is an experience. If you play it with a pick you'll get a bigger sound of course. I love this uke but can't get it to make any noise. The sound it does make is beautiful so I just use it as a practice uke so I don't bother the nieghbors. i was initially planing to return it because it created an annoying resonance in my ears. but after my physician removed wax from my ears, the resonance disappeared. LOL it really is a beautifully made uke with a great full sound. kudos to Kala.
