The ukulele itself is nice enough, plays well with nice action but a good part of why I bought this particular instrument over others was because of the lighter sap accents on the wood. The one I received has hardly any. Barely distinguishable. You have to really look for it. I expected variations of course, but based on the pictures and description I expected better than this.… read more Sorry. Disappointed in this purchase.

I am a long time ukulele player. I actually teach ukulele in public school so I play it A LOT. I own about 8 different brands/sizes but this baritone uke is just stunning in every way. The look of it is what drew me to it but the SOUND....ahhhh the sound is SO rich and beautiful, I just love it so much. If you are on the fence just grab it ASAP and get it home!

Thanks to my brother in law recommending Sweetwater! I love the sound of this baritone ukulele. It is just beautiful. And it looks beautiful too!! I am new to the ukulele and am not disappointed. Practicing is a blast when it sounds this good. When making my choice of which one to purchase - I used You Tube to hear the different sounds of models. Very happy with my purchase...so… read more is my daughter. She wanted to play so badly we now own two bari ukes from Sweetwater..... Customer service is wonderful. Love the follow-up calls and the ease of getting a hold of someone.

WOW. It's not only beautiful to look at , but a beauty to listen too. The sound is truly unique. Hard to explain how it sounds. The sustain sounds almost 'shimmery'.
