This is my second Ukelele. My first was the Lanikai MA-C. Picked the MA-8T up at Sweetwater, when they received a new shipment. Right from the warehouse, right out of the box, brought it up to tune, sitting in their lobby, to try it out before purchasing. It took a while to tune 8 strings! Was concerned that I could get clear sound, having never played paired strings, but aside… read more from a bit more pressure, it played as easily as the MA-C. It took about 4 or 5 playing sessions to get the tuning to hold consistently, but it's holding now! Looking forward to many hours of enjoyment from both, but the fuller sound of the MA-8T gives added dimension to some songs.
