All solid wood for a solid price

I was skeptical of this instrument when I bought it. How could an all solid wood ukulele be so affordable? The specs on it are incredible. It seemed like I would get lot of bang for my buck. Needless to say, I am in love with this instrument and I almost felt like I should have paid more. I was surprised to see there weren't any videos or many reviews on this instrument. I got 3 different Cordobas that I returned before finally landing on this beauty. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with laminate ukuleles. Get the real thing and enjoy breaking it in. I can't wait to hear how it sounds years from now.
Good Value in a Solid Body Uke

Well finished, set up well out of the box. Nice clear authentic tone. Saddle is not compensated, but still the intonation is very good! Not a toy, a nice intro-level solid body uke that will bring years of enjoyment.

I really enjoy playing this ukulele. The solid body puts out some great tone. I do feel like there are a couple quieter spots up the fingerboard, but it is negligible. Really a great uke. I will probably look at another Lanikai for my girlfriend.
