Awesome First Uke!

This is my first ukulele and received it as a gift for Christmas from my wife (although I did strongly hint to her which one I wanted and where to buy it). I got it so I could learn to play Somewhere Over the Rainbow for my now almost one year old daughter. I've played guitar in the past, but haven't played much in the past few years. After a couple nights of learning the basic read more open chords I've got the basic melody down and my daughter giggles and claps her hands when I start playing! I'm having a ton of fun learning how to play. The uke itself is beautiful. I was surprised with how good the neck feels and overall quality considering the price. The setup was perfect out of the box...thanks Sweetwater! The decorative inlays combined with the wood grain make this uke pop. I'm already thinking about starting a small collection of uke's and it will be hard for me to consider a different brand than Luna at this point. Very happy with how it plays, how it looks, how it sounds, and the service. Our sales engineer Jerrod DeMott followed up with us after Christmas. Before my wife bought it for me, I spoke with him and he answered all my questions (and I had several since I had never played before). I'll be going back to him when it comes time to buy my next uke or guitar!

Mahogany concert ukulele

I enjoyed this uke in the soprano, so I ordered this one. There is a slight diff. in this uke, than what it shows in the picture, and diff. from my soprano. This concert has black, instead of brown around the body, and the stripe on the back is black also. But I kinda like that, because it's a nice contrast to the shades of brown in the uke itself. I don't know why that is, but read more it's okay. And yes, continuing my UAS disease....haha...I also got it in the tenor size. It has the brown around the edges, like the soprano. It is a great ukulele....in all the sizes! They have that deeper mahogany sound and the extra bling, really sets it off. It's one beautiful ukulele! You won't go wrong with any size of this uke. Aloha
