I was a bit disappointed after receiving this strap. While being billed as their most premium leather it was very dry and felt cheap. I used some of my redwing leather conditioner to get some more pliability out of dry leather. Secondly, the edges of leather are very uncomfortable due to being un-burnished. After spending some time burnishing the edges of leather not only does… read more it look more premium it is more comfortable to use, particularly the pad with no longer chafes my neck. Ultimately, it's an okay strap but shows overall lack of attention to detail. Levy's if you are reading I hope you can do better. I bought your product over the fender alternative.

Quality is fine but the leather is super stiff new. Thankfully I happened upon a way to "break it in" by sticking in the clothes dryer with a couple of pairs of sneakers (no heat) for an hour. Problem solved. Came out as soft as the stock Fender vintage straps.
