Good strap, but looong

i've had this strap for a few months now and it's worked well for me for the most part, however, i had to punch a considerable amount of extra holes and cut off the extra length in order to get it to my preferred length, and even still, it is a little bit longer than i prefer. i made so many that i'm pretty sure all the holes on the strap at the moment were made by me. beyond the read more length, the leather pad was quite stiff out of the box, but this isn't really a huge complaint, as break-in is expected for pretty much any leather product. also, the way that the pad is on the strap from the factory feels wrong, it's the way that it is in the product pictures, but the curve of it goes the wrong way in relation to your shoulder and neck, so i ended up taking the pad off the strap and flipping it around. also, the buckle system feels slightly undercooked, the end of the part of the strap with the holes just hangs on it's own, with no loop or anything for it to go through so that it doesn't do that, which i may put on myself at some point, and there is only one proper attachment point, so if the buckle fails, it wont end pretty. overall, i am happy with the strap, but it did take a little bit of modification to fully get there.
