I was lucky to have my son recommend that I contact Colton Smiricky, Sales Engineer, to assist me with selecting a great concert ukulele as a birthday gift for my musical grandson….the instrument is great to look at and Exactly Matched the excellent photos posted online…the sound is very pleasing and this ukulele holds its tune well …. I was somewhat concerned with reviews about high action. NOT an issue with this one, 3mm is perfect. It was an upgrade from another manufacturer. Right out of the box set-up is good and strings are fine. Intonation is great and I am very happy with it. Has great projection and nice warm sound. Thanks Dave, you were right!

I bought it as an upgrade to my first concert size ukulele. This ukulele has a warm and bright tone. I think it sounds like how a ukulele should sound like. The fretboard is a comfortable size for my smaller fingers.
Love my Martin and grateful for my Sweetwater experience!

Great value for the money. Better tone and build quality than some Koa Ukes made for 3 times as much. Mine has beautiful flamed Koa on the back and sides which I was not expecting at all. I have a vintage Mahogany Uke and this thing is twice as loud. Very sweet tone that rings out!
