Love the guitar but required some setup

I am just an amateur guitar player and I bought this guitar because I wanted something more full size than my Taylor 12e. It's a beautiful guitar for the money and I was happy with the low setup that made playing (especially those bar-chords) more fun. But I noticed a lot of buzzing coming from the higher frets (14-16) which was quite annoying. I took it to a reputable shop near read more me and the technician (RJ) put a shim under the bridge and made a small adjustment to the torsion rod. RJ pointed out that the frets I mentioned were a little high but he didn't do anything with them. His adjustments made a big difference and it even sounded better, but I was still getting some buzzing. So I taped off the area around those frets and carefully adjusted their height and now it plays and sounds great.

Great Guitar!

Use this guitar all the time. Play it at home and for my worship team on Sundays. It played alright out of the box, but bar chords were difficult. After a nice setup from my local music store, it plays and sounds 10 times better. Highly recommend a setup

AMAZING GUITAR

I recently bought a Martin D-X1E guitar from Sweetwater and it is the most amazing guitar I've ever owned. I'm an amateur guitar enthusiast from the folk music days and this guitar has the Martin workmanship at an amazing price. The sound is great and the quality is what one would expect from a Martin. My salesman, Jared, was so helpful in the purchase and delivery.
