Very sweet guitar for the money

There is no better online music store than Sweetwater, they make purchases trouble-free and are so easy to deal with. The first copy I received of this guitar came super fast, but there were dead spots all over the neck past the tenth fret, so I had to return it on my own dime, which was kind of a bummer. They shipped me a brand new copy and for what it it sounds terrific and can… read more take a beating. I bought this because I was planning on traveling around the country with my camper and I didn't want take along my D18 or my J45, I needed something that would be relatively impervious to temperature and humidity fluctuations and this fits the bill perfectly. For a fully laminated guitar the tone is well balanced, its got decent sustain and has plenty of projection. For a beginner or travel guitar for $ it really can't be beat.

This guitar is a great value and it plays really well. I have another DX1AEL style guitar, a D16, and a couple of other MIM Martins and it's amazing how close the MIM Martins are to my D16. A very temperature and humidity resistant guitar, but you should keep any guitar between 35% and 45% humidity, for the best sound. I had mine plekked. And next to my Gibson j45 the quality of sound is comparable. It have a brighter tone than the Gibson but I will be gigging this guitar. It is impressive, being its a laminate knock around guitar. I have had it for 6 months and im still impressed

In the C F Martin world, this Johnny Cash tribute is a cheap guitar. And being left handed, my options are somewhat limited. Yet I can't believe the rich, full sound of this thing. I own several comparably priced guitars and there's no comparison in fullness of sound. I haven't even plugged it in yet. I'm just enjoying the acoustics. It's also easier to play than my others. And… read more this is really cool - I've been playing it for about three weeks now and haven't had to re-tune once! Not even tweak it. I have to call Mike and see what strings are on it. It's also really great looking, flat black with "Cash" on the fret board. Sweetwater does not disappoint. I ordered it on a Friday and FedEx delivered it on Sunday. This guitar is a lot of fun.
