Depends on your use

If you are planning on using this underneath the main portion of the board you may as well put it on top, The mounting allows no access for pedals to be installed on the board where the power supply is(if you have a board with the braces you could mount it on the bottom but i will DIY something instead...).The bushings with threads do rotate in the holes but a bit of loctite, paper read more or holding the hex seemed to allow them to be well tightened. I would recommend some blue loctite on the self tappers on the power supply but the screws do seem to be long enough to allow proper engagement. All in all not worth my… dollars.

Mounting bracket screws

This doesn't really pertain to a rating except to the extent that it's great that Sweetwater encourages feedback and interaction. So while this doesn't involved rating a product, I hope it will be helpful to others who will buy and mount various brackets to pedal boards. Some mounting brackets come with self-tapping screws which do not have the fine threads of a standard machine read more screws (neither national coarse or national fine) since the screw must act as both a drill bit and a fastener. Consequently, unless you're mounting onto a surface that is thick enough that the optimal length of the screw is encased in the metal (which is not the case when screwing into a pedal board cross member), then you should always use a lock washer. If you're mounting a bracket that requires you to use a screw that's part of the power supply chassis, the screw may have been spec'd incorrectly and not have the length necessary (or the proper threads/inch) to hold it. You should add a lock washer in this case, as well. If the screws seem too short, you can match the screw size at any hardware store. Just be sure to add the thickness of the bracket and the thickness of the lock washer (which should only add less than an 1/8 inch to the length of the original screw.

Inexplicably fails

Plan on regularly checking the screws are tightened. I used this system with a 4x4 and ISO-5 after multiple failures trying to just use pedal plates. I was hoping to be done with the plates melting off by moving to this system, but despite only moving the board back and forth to church once a week in the Temple Pelican Case, the screws manage to loosen themselves. As a result, I read more lost several of the Voodoo screws. So now I don"t have a way to remount the power and resale value on the power supplies doesn"t look promising with screws missing. Temple makes interesting designs that are unfortunately poorly executed.
