Easy to adjust!

I use these on several bass guitars that are fairly heavy. They sit well on my shoulder, and the adjustments are so easy to make. I also bought Ernie Ball strap locks at the same time and these straps work very well with them. So secure yet so easy to make even small adjustments.

Problem Solved

I've been searching for a decent adjustable leather strap for years. I really only needed the leather portion to sit on my shoulder and prevent sliding. This strap definitely allows for the guitar to be brought to the correct height, and the leather section keeps the strap from sliding toward my neck. I'm a big guy (6'-4" 340 lbs.) and I keep my guitar way up high (almost over… read more my chest). This strap allows me to get it to the right height without a piece of leather hanging off the side of the guitar. The only con so far is that the rip cord slips a little over time. I typically have to adjust it once per hour of playing.

Great Strap!

This Levy's strap is really comfortable! It's really light, yet very well built as are all Levy's instrument straps. The "Rip-Chord" feature makes it SO easy to adjust exactly where you like your instrument to sit on your shoulder... and without adjustment notches, you can set it where YOU want your instrument height to be.

I’ve been waiting for this for years!

Being able to adjust my bass strap quickly and easily has been a desire since I first tried slapping. I slap rarely, but it's tough with the bass slung low. This strap really does a great job of quickly sliding up and down. My only disappointment is the suede underside... it's nice, but doesn't slide as easily as leather.

Right Height is The Right Strap!

I play a double-neck Richie Sambora signature model Ovation guitar(THANKS SWEETWATER!!!) in my church choir. I love the guitar NOW. Although I really loved the sound and the sweet action, I was really struggling with the size and weight of the guitar. I could barely reach the lower neck, especially when standing. Then I found this strap and now I am much happier with my guitar.… read more I was a little underwhelmed by it’s looks @ first but then I tried it and Wow, this strap distributes the weight of the guitar over the shoulder, making this heavy guitar feel much lighter, and the rip-cord adjustment works like a charm. With standing and sitting repeatedly throughout the service, I am constantly raising and lowering the guitar height and if I am playing the lower,12string neck, I just raise the height a little more.
