This is exactly what I wanted. Extremely soft leather. It's is the perfect width for me and it's very comfortable when playing for a while.

This is the second strap from Levy's that I have bought, and it will not be the last. As a bass player wielding instruments that are in the 10 pound range, a quality strap is an absolute must-have. I bought my first Levy's strap (same model) for my Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray Special 5HH that I bought from Sweetwater a couple years ago. That strap has served me very well. The padding on the strap is super comfortable, and the strap ends accommodate strap locks easily. It's easy to adjust the playing position on your shoulder, but it still stays right where you put it. Magic how that works out! The range of colors available in this strap design should satisfy even the pickiest buyer. If you are on the fence about spending the extra few dollars for a quality strap that will last forever, please allay your fears and get the Levy's strap. you will not be disappointed!

The strap itself is great just as you would expect. I was really disappointed with the color. It does not look even close to the pic on the website at all. The strap in the pic is a nice deep dark burgundy. The strap i received is much lighter. More like a light red/brown. For the price I paid I want the color I was expecting. This will be going back.
