At first, I purchased one of these to check them out. I wondered what the quality would be like aince it was a lower priced leather strap compared to many of Levy's other leather straps. I ended up really liking it so I brought another one. The second one had some weird flaking on it but Sweetwater quickly replaced it with a new one and provided a prepaid shipping lable to return… read more the defective one. I would recommend this strap.

Levy's MV17 Leather Guitar Strap

This strap is single ply leather. The stitching is cosmetic. It's a nice step up from poly straps. Because it's single ply, I can't imagine how this can wear out. If you want a basic leather strap, this is an affordable choice.
