My favorite clip-on tuner
Of the 15+ clip-on tuners I've tried out, this is my favorite to date. It struggles a tiny bit on the low E string on my bass (and playing a harmonic always fixes that little hurdle), but that's to be expected for a headstock tuner. I love how PRECISE the tracking on this is! The rechargeable battery and extra bright display are simply icing on the cake for me. Worth trying out if you haven't!
Ok...
Works well for bass but almost useless for setting harmonics. The notes at the 12th fret barely register if at all. The power button is spongey. It takes a sure poke to turn it on. I've had a lot cheaper work a lot better. On the plus side, it flips and turns and pivots all over the place so you can see at an ideal angle. All clip-ons should be this versatile.
