Zero Regrets!!!!!

Being my first Pedalboard i did not know what to expect and all i can say is i wish i would have gotten one long ago. It takes your rat nest of cables and wires and turns it into a symphony of construction. Figure out your tone before setting up the board. I also had dual lock tape on had so I do not know how the velcro works out but it looks legit, if you are using dual lock, read more a little goes a long way 1" square work well. Big thanks to Michael Duncan and all his help at Sweetwater.

It'll Outlast You

This thing is built like it's meant to be bolted to the outside of a Jeep! Don't worry, it's aluminum, so it's lighter than you'd think. I've built furniture for 25+ years and have a fully equipped woodworking machine shop. I toyed with building my own boards until I checked a Pedaltrain out another player owned. By the time I could build something as nice as this from wood, read more I'd spend plenty on wood and finishing products, as well as a bunch of time. Mine still wouldn't be as light, or would it have a carrying bag. So... this thing is well thought out and manufactured, looks great, and you'll be up and running in an hour. I spend the time I didn't use building something playing! I mounted a Voodoo Labs power supply underneath, which required drilling 4 1/8" holes. Pro tip... mount the brackets to the power supply first, locate the PS, mark and drill two holes, install screws, drill and install the last two screws. Happy playing!

Pedaltrain Novo 24 Board

This is the second Pedaltrain board I've owned. Both are seemingly indestructible in construction. I have been using a much smaller board for a couple of years now with a basic rig (from guitar to amp sequentially: tuner/mini wah/overdrive/chorus/echo/switchable volume boost all powered by an AC adaptor). I always like to have a backup for live gigs, so I also bring a Tech 21 RK5, read more just in case. Now that I have the Novo 24, I have the option geek out on the pedalboard concept by expanding effects options. Bottom line: the pedalboard feels nice and secure. To save a few bucks, I chose the lesser expensive fabric carrying case. The hard case may have been a better option and I would rated it 5-stars. (If you take a moment to check my photo, you will see the Novo 24 rig is still a work in progress)

I was tired of shifting my pedals on my small home-made board, and decided that I wanted to go with a pedaltrain board. So...I was set on the Novo 32...with a hard case...till I talked to Nick. He asked me a couple simple questions...and it was clear that the soft case was a better application for me, and that two smaller pedalboard, unless they never move or you have roadies, read more are almost always a better idea than one huge board. I decided to go with the Novo 24, and it really is perfect. If I decide I need more space (I am a bassist, why do I NEED any?) I can just add a smaller one to the side. I love the newer design. I now understand why these are the standard that other pedalboards are measured against. The only thing I wish the Pedaltrain offered was the option to pay a little more and get the backpack instead of the tote bag (sweetwater can't do it, shipped together). It is much stronger than the older models minus there are ZERO pockets! Please charge 10 more bucks and throw on a pocket or give the option to get the backpack instead of the tote.

More than adwquate
