This isn't a complaint. I just didn't know what to expect. The thin gauge nylon plays thinner than the traditional celluloid thin. They're great picks, The grip makes it perfect if you struggle with slippage. I just didn't order the correct gauge for me.
W/ a sandpaper feel, I KNOW I won't drop another pick!

These new textured picks wasn't around when I started learning guitar and I sure dropped many a pick. These picks are excellent for me. The grips feel like sandpaper and they really hang on. Fingers not as sensitive as they used to be, you REALLY need that. Haven't dropped a one yet, not thinking I will but I'll keep you posted.

Now that I'm getting a bit older my finger grip just isn't the same. These picks have grip like ruffles that make picking easier.The pick doesn't slip out of your fingers.
