First one I ordered was brittle and cracked in half during installation. Once burned, I had serious doubts, but Sweetwater team rushed out a replacement. Amazing!

I have been using O-Ports since they first started making them. I have tried them in every acoustic guitar I have owned in the last 10 years, including a 1999 Taylor 310ce, 1980's Hohner 12-string, Fender CD220SCE, two Taylor GS-Mini's (to fit a GS Mini properly requires a small modification to the O-port with a Dremmel tool, but it is well worth the hassle!), 2011 Taylor 914ce,… read more and also a Breedlove Studio BJ350/SMe4 acoustic-electric bass guitar. In every case except one, there was a HUGE improvement in the sound. More presence, more volume and projection, and more bass. Plus the additional benefit of significant feedback reduction when plugged in. The exception was the Taylor 914ce. On that guitar, the O-port absolutely ruined the sound. It was horrible. I guess my conclusion is if your guitar costs over $3000 don't buy an O-port. Otherwise grab one fast and you'll be grinning from ear to ear. I recommend them to all my students and it always improves the sound of their guitars. The O-Port is the best kept secret in the guitar world.

It works!

Was initially skeptical, but figured I would give it a try on my Alvarez Artist concert size cutaway. The O-Port did noticably improve the sound, giving it significantly increased projection and fullness of tone. This was an excellent guitar to start with and the O-Port made it even better. No longer skeptical. Well-spent money.

Great Product

Does what it is made to do. This O-Port will enhance your guitar and push the volume up so much I'm able to use it in a small church setting with no amp.

Just changed the strings on the Taylor 316 and just to really compare I took the o-port out. Wow. I couldnt get the o-port back in fast enough. The volume was close to cut in half without it and all the warm tones were gone. I wont take it out again...this little guy really does provide a huge improvement in volume, warmth/bass and clarity.
