Great sound for the price
Great sound for the price!
Great cab for the moolah
The Marshall Origin cab is solid and very well built. I had two greenbacks and the 20 watt Origin head. I shopped for an empty 212 cab but the prices were equal or higher than the Origin horizontal cab so ... when they came back in stock I purchased one. I opened the cab up so it could air out for a week or so as MDF is known to off gas formaldehyde. Very well built inside and out.… read more Put in the pair of greenbacks, replaced the back and this is now a killer cab that sounds amazing with the Origin head. I gave the 70 80 speakers away so cannot review them. What I can say is that after owning several Marshall cabs in the past this is the best sounding most tight audio wise of any Marshall cab including UK made cabs. Plus I did not realize the baffle is tilted up until it arrived. That was a bonus. Thank you Marshall and Sweetwater!
It’s a steal!
I don't think you can do better for the money! This thing has the looks for sure. The 70/80's are what they are. Definitely usable. But really worth it even if just for the cabinet.
Awesome
Absolutely no complaints would definitely purchase again. I paired it with a Marshall origin 50 head sounds great
Great value
The cab sounds great, especially for the price. Being less than half the cost of most other 2x12 cabs you really can't go wrong. I personally like the way it looks not having corner protectors and I'm happy with it being fairly light having plastic handles (which feel plenty sturdy and not in the least cheesey). If I am to nit pick anything about it,, I do not like the connection… read more on the back and how deeply recessed it is. But that aside this thing rocks and sounds clear. Thanks to Matthew Lamarche for helping me along the way and answering all of my questions.
