In my search for a head and cab I had a budget I needed to stick to. This cab was in the price range I was looking for. The vast majority of my budget went to my ENGL Ironball SE. i wasn't sure of how good the amp would sound through this cab but trust me I WAS NOT disappointed! This cab sounds great! Plenty of full bodied tone! Capable of anything you are.

This is a fantastic 2x12 cabinet. It's got a lot of presence and really brightens the tone of darker voiced Amps. It projects sound very well, regardless of the head pushing it. I have used this cab with the Marshall Origin 50 head, Peavey Valveking and 5150 (script) heads, Randall RG175 and RG100 heads, a Crate Power Block, a Vox MV-50 (rock), and an Orange Terror Stamp; each of… read more these amps sound terrific through the Origin cab. Can't go wrong for the price. I really enjoy the well rounded sounds it produces. The speakers are quite responsive to the EQ sections of your preferred Amps. It's a great addition to any gear collection and offers plenty of power handling to ensure that your tone is clearly delivered.

This cabinet is light weight, and it has that famous Celestion punch - It makes my Hughes & Kettner really crackle - do yourself and your back a favor and buy one

I use an Orange or15. Wanted the matching cab but it cost more than the head and was sceptical about the open back and neodymium speakers. Decided on this for the cost factor and wanted a vertical 2x12. Was unsure at first but after a few days my ears adjusted to the new cab and it seemed to smooth out. Have owned way more expensive cabs and this one sounds just as good. Have had… read more cheap cabs that sound brittle with no punch but not this one. The 70/ 80 speakers get a bad rap but I see no need to change them. That may change the more I use the cab in different spaces. I will be adding protective corners soon. Love the retro style grill cloth. My sales rep Brandt Miller is awesome. Have had great and much needed conversation with him during these impersonal times.
