Nice cab.
Nice cab. Sounds good. Great styling. Buy it with the Origin 50 head. Buy it now.
Awsome cap
Honestly this is the best marshall cab ive ever had and ive had a few the speakers are perfect and the vintage look is unmatched expecially for the price
Genuinely Surprising
I bought this to pair with an old Plexi head I picked up and did t want to spend a fortune on yet another cab. This cab sounds terrific for the money. In fact, I think side-by-side with my 1960a, this cab sounds better. The low end is tighter and overall presence is great. Highly recommend this cab.
Sounds hot with my JVM205H head!
The Origin 4x12 cabinet sounds amazing with my Marshall JVM 205 H 50W head. Sparkling responsive cleans to blistering hot Van Halen 1 tones, this cabinet can handle it. I added some casters for easier movement.
More than Classic Tone
The ORI412A flat out sparkles when driven by the Origin 50 head (now my amp of choice). When you look online you don't see a lot of stuff written about the Celestions that they stuff into these cabs. Who cares? They're awesome. You'll be seeing plenty before long. Why a 4x12 in the first place? They're for large venues, right? Not in my humble opinion. There is an interaction… read more / diffraction effect that you get out of four speakers that you simply don't get from single speaker cabs. It's sort of like "movement" on a well-thrown fastball. If you can put up moving this box around, it will provide a ton of tone regardless of venue. That brings up my only gripe. I miss the casters. Still, it gets a strong five stars from this player of more than six decades.
